Before she joined

Could she keep following the plan?

Jennifer had tried putting advice from Instagram together herself. She wanted help working out what fitted her, but she also worried about paying for something she might struggle to follow through with.

After she had spent some time following the plan, she described why she chose to continue:

“I felt like it was something that I can continue with for months and months and months.”

What she learned

She could explain what she was doing.

Tracking her food changed how Jennifer judged her intake. A meal looking smaller did not always mean it contained fewer calories. She noticed how sauces could add up.

Her training became more specific too. She had lifted weights before, but described choosing exercises more randomly. With a training plan, she knew which exercises to do.

Walking became something she enjoyed. She said it helped clear her mind. Food tracking, walking and training each had a place in what she was learning to manage.

As she approached her target

She asked what would come next.

In the May 2025 conversation, Jennifer asked what training she would need in the long term once she had the strength and muscle definition she wanted.

For Jennifer, we discussed gradually increasing food intake as she moved out of fat loss, while keeping strength training in place. The aim was to find an intake she could maintain. At that point, she was still approaching her target. This was the next phase being planned.

That is a useful conversation to have before finishing fat loss: what will change with food, what activity can you keep doing, and how will you check how things are going?

The later records
